To achieve the best results, she performs modern diagnostics and provides treatment using removable appliances (orthodontic appliances, plates, aligners) and fixed appliances (brace systems, fixed plates, etc.). The diagnostic process includes taking impressions to fabricate diagnostic models, a photo protocol for photometry, and interpreting lateral cephalometric radiographs (TRG) to identify skeletal tendencies and formulate a treatment plan. For treatment, she utilizes metal or ceramic ligating braces (where the archwire is attached to the brackets using elastic or metal ligations). The treatment duration depends on the level of complexity but lasts at least 1.5 years. This is because we need to not only align the teeth and properly interlock the jaws but also prepare for the retention period; otherwise, the risk of relapse increases. During the retention period, there are several options for maintaining the achieved results, which should sometimes be combined, such as removable retention appliances, thermoplastic retention aligners, and fixed retainers. An individual approach is used during treatment, taking into account skeletal tendencies, the current clinical situation, and the wishes of the patient or their parents. She regularly attends practical courses and participated in the III Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Professional Training of Dental Specialists in the Extreme Conditions of Today.” The doctor also helps with TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunctional disorders. Patients consult her with the following complaints: joint pain, joint clicking/clicking when opening or closing the mouth, headaches, pain when opening the mouth, painful jaw movement/difficulty opening the mouth, and painful sensations in the jaw that appear after extensive talking or eating hard food.
