Stage 2

The procedure for the second stage is standard:

Taking an impression (to create a model of the tooth, which is then used to make the restoration)
Fitting a trial crown (if the patient feels no discomfort, the dental technician begins making the permanent one)
Temporary fixation with temporary cement (needed to monitor the tooth’s reaction)

While the permanent restoration is being made, the patient is fitted with temporary dental crowns. These temporary dental crowns protect the prepared tooth tissue from external factors, eliminate discomfort while eating, and also serve an aesthetic function.

Stage 3

The final stage is usually carried out 2–4 weeks later. If the bite with opposing teeth is not disrupted and there are no complaints of discomfort, the dental crown is permanently cemented. The installation process takes from 5 days to several weeks. The duration depends on the condition of the oral cavity, the complexity of the restoration, the chosen material, and other factors.
